Among the various towns of the Romagna Riviera, Milano Marittima is the one most associated with the ideas of mundaneness and exclusiveness.

The Saltworks Nature Reserve
The Cervia Saltworks is a Nature Reserve covering an 800-hectare surface, and is one of the greatest environmental/economic resources of this area. In August, don’t miss the salt collection “ritual”!

20 kms from here, you have the chance to visit Ravenna, the capital of the Western Roman Empire, an incredibly beautiful open-air museum. We are speaking of one of the European cities with the largest number of Unesco Heritage Sites within its walls!
The history of Adriatic seamanship
If you enjoy genuine seafaring atmospheres, don’t miss the chance to travel to Cesenatico, just 13 km away from here, where you can admire the channel port designed by Leonardo Da Vinci and visit the Seamanship Museum, an amazing patrimony of knowledge concerning ancient boats and navigation techniques used to sail the Adriatic.

The largest and most important is also the closest to Milano Marittima: we are speaking of Mirabilandia, easily recognizable thanks to its large panoramic wheel.
